Boomerangs FS were promoted to the NSW Premier League in 2011/12 after an outstanding season in the NSW Super League in 2010/2011.
After finishing on top with a round to spare in the Super League Club Championship (and eventually winning by a massive 30 points), the Boomerangs had all nine teams participate in the qualifying finals, with seven of them making it through to the preliminary final and four teams making it through to their respective Grand Finals.
All four teams – the 14 Girls and the 14 and 16 Boys and Youth Men – that made the Grand Final won on the day, highlighting the dominance of the Boomerangs during the 2010/2011 season in the NSW Super League.
This confirmed the club as starters in the 2011/2012 Premier League season kicking off in October 2011.
