2015 proved to be a disappointing season for the Boomerangs Club in the F-League.
The 2015 competition saw the Boomerangs and Capital FC both represent from the ACT. NSW had it’s regular strong clubs, Dural Warriors, East Coast Heat and Inner West Magic. Victoria provided perennial top four finishing Vic Vipers and debutante club Bayside Pirates. Queensland were represented for a second year by South Brisbane, in addition to debutante club Galaxy Futsal from the Gold Coast. A resulting in a record nine teams competing for the 2015 crown.
The Boomerangs men finished the season in 8th position on the ladder, with only three wins for the season.
The finals were contested by ladder topping Vic Vipers, who were demolished 7-1 in the semi-final against fourth placed East Coast Heat. Second v Third saw Dural triumph over Sydney rivals Inner West Magic (4-1).
The Grand Final saw the Heat narrowly defeat the Warriors in a classic match 3-2.
