Boomerangs FS is seeking new and existing players to trial for the 2018/19 FNSW Premier League 2 (PL2) competition.

After a hugely successful 17/18 season, Boomerangs FS will again contest the FNSW PL2 competition for the summer season of 2018/19 with matches commencing on the weekend of  29/30 September 2018.

The season will consist of fourteen competitive rounds of home and away matches (including six away games to Sydney and one to Wollongong) and two weekends of finals, played in January. Player trials will commence during July with teams selected by mid-August ready for pre-season training to commence.

There will also be an opportunity for new younger development age groups to have matches against Sydney teams.

All players, both new and returning are required to trial, including for the new younger age groups:

– Development squads: 8/9 boys, 10 boys, 11 boys, 8/9 girls, 10/11 girls, 12 girls
– Competitive squads: 12 boys, 13 girls, 14 boys, 15 girls, 16 boys, 18 women, 19 men

Open age men and women players that are known to the club will be approached to trial. If you are an open age player and want to make yourself known to the club, please also complete the form below.

Note also, that the club will look to enter teams into the Capital Football Premier League competition (both juniors and seniors), and will seek additional playing opportunities in Canberra-based leagues where possible for those not involved with the Capital Football Premier League.

  1. My son is turning 11 in September, l have put him down for age 11 development but was wondering whether l should have put him down for the 12s. He plays for div 1 outdoor soccer Belwest Foxes.
    Your input will be valuable.
    Thank you

    1. All players will be assessed on merit including those with the potential to play in higher levels. Last season, quite a few of the 11 boys had the opportunity to play in the competitive 12s.
