Boomerangs FS was pleased to once again be competing in the F-League for season 2016, the sixth consecutive year of competing in the highest level futsal competition in Australia.
The teams involved in the 2016 F-League Men’s Competition included:

East Coast Heat FC (NSW)
Inner West Magic (NSW)
Galaxy FC (QLD)
South Brisbane Futsal Club (QLD)
VIC Vipers (VIC)
The season saw improvement from the 2015 season, with many of the youth players developing into senior, core members of the team. A finals spot was not forthcoming, but there were more than enough signs that the team developed and improved significantly during the season.
The competition itself has also improved significantly over the most recent couple of seasons and seeing continued strong performances from the three Sydney-based clubs, the Vic Vipers from Melbourne and relative new club Galaxy from Queensland, means that there are almost no easy games during the season.
